My name is Lorraine Newark. Whilst being a qualified hairdresser for some 12 years and having worked
both in a salon and freelance, it is in the last 3 years that I have dedicated my time specialising in wedding hair
design - the fun part of hairdressing.
Being married, I know how important it is to be
able to trust and communicate your ideas to a professional so you can relax and enjoy both the build up and big the day itself. Punctuality, professionalism and a good sense of fun are all essential attributes
to make the beginning of your day run as smoothly as possible.
Whether it be long hair updo’s, a full head of curls, short hair designs or just a simple blowdry, I
cover all aspects of hair design for the bride and her bridesmaids. But don’t
forget the mother of the bride and mother in law who also like to look their best on your big day! Even the little ones are
catered for with some simple but effective results. From the time I
leave you to the time you go to bed your hair will stay in place and look amazing ensuring compliments from all of your guests.
Happy to attend either your home or wedding venue in Herts, Bucks or North
London, I can create up to 8 hair designs per wedding party and as I only take one booking a day you can rely
on me to be on hand as long as is needed. It is not unusual for me to be helping the bride to dress or dropping
bridesmaids at the church! Hair trials are available and recommended for the
main wedding party before the big day to discuss ideas and to tryout styles.
I consider it is a privilege to be a part of your wedding day and with the right people working with
you, your special memories will start from the moment you get up and will stay with you forever.
I also
make beautiful bespoke tiaras, combs and hair pins to
co-ordinate with the colour scheme of the dresses and to match the style of your hair.
